We are working with a reputable further education provider in Derbyshire. They are currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Engineering technician to join their growing team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing support in Fabrication and Welding workshops/classrooms and aid in the maintenance of safe learning environments.

Job Description:
Provide support to the engineering team in various projects
Maintenance of the workshop, ensuring all equipment is in good working order
Assisting in the preparation of materials for training sessions and practical demonstrations in fabrication and welding
Adherence to health and safety protocols at all times
Assisting with the procurement of equipment
Regularly inspecting, servicing, and repairing tools and equipment as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in engineering or fabrication and welding
Proven experience as an Engineering technician
Level 2 welding or fabrication qualification
Strong understanding and commitment to health and safety regulations
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work well in a team
