Using state of the art digital technology, Inspired Schools Online operates two established divisions – Kings InterHigh, a non-selective fee paying online secondary school established in 2005 and Academy21 (A21), our B2B Alternative Provision for secondary aged students serving other educational providers, schools, local authorities, and other public bodies.
Each week A21 supports over 1000 vulnerable students who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to attend mainstream secondary school. In any year we partner with over 800 schools and many local authority services to help them realise the best possible academic outcomes for young people who may be unable to attend school regularly for a variety of reasons from medical or complex mental health issues to behavioural needs. As part of our strategy to continue to grow and provide our services across the England and Wales, we are advertising for talented and ambitious teacher(s) to join our online school, with the ability to teach General English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE English at KS4.c

Salary Range – £34,500 - £39,500 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
Position: Full Time or Part Time, Permanent Contract. You will be contracted to work 42 weeks of the year, 38 weeks of which are currently contact time and 4 weeks to complete other activities such as course writing, marking, etc.
The successful candidate(s) will join a talented team providing excellent online educational experiences for our vulnerable cohort whose ages range between 11 and 16-18. The successful candidate(s) will demonstrate expertise and experience of delivering English to KS3 students with the ability to teach English GCSE at KS4: they will come from either a state school or independent school background and have some knowledge of teaching students with additional needs. Passionate about ensuring the students are at the centre of learning, the successful candidate will be used to deadlines, have experience of creating effective learning resources and having a key focus on the academic monitoring and progress of the students.
The English leader of learning will work as a teacher in the English team with other leaders of learning under the direction of and reporting to the head of subject. Sharing ideas and best practice approaches are key factors in the online environment. Also, working together with the head of subject towards the school’s education strategy and the success of our students.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Ideally the candidate will be qualified up to degree level in a related subject area and have a recognised teaching qualification, a PGCE with Qualified Teacher Status.

- Experience of creating resources and the ability to review and enhance our current course delivery
- Computer literate with the ability to teach online using technology applications
