English Teacher
37 hours per week permanent position to commence as soon as possible
Grade: Harmonised Pay Scale Points 23-35 (£25,957.38 - £35,463.23 per annum)
Bishop Auckland College is seeking to recruit an English Teacher who will be responsible for the effective and efficient teaching and coordination of GCSE English within Durham Gateway and across College.
The English Teacher will also be responsible for the tracking of progress over time for all learners, as well as securing successful outcomes during the GCSE exam campaign for year 11s.

The successful candidate will be required to possess Certificate in Education (or be willing to work towards within 2 years) or equivalent newly qualified Teacher status and a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject. It is desirable that the candidate will also possess an IT qualification, Level 2 Equality & Diversity, Degree, Level 3 Assessors Certificate, Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance/Internal Verification and QTLS.
