We are looking for an Enterprise Data Project Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of strategic projects within our Enterprise Data Management Portfolio. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet their objectives by overseeing multiple projects and managing resources efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership:
Set up and drive projects from initiation to closure, managing budgets up to £5 million.
Coordination:
Oversee project plans, governance, and contractor management, ensuring compliance with standards.
Risk Management:
Handle project risks, issues, and changes, escalating when necessary with well-prepared briefings.
Team Management:
Lead a project team of internal staff and external contractors, ensuring accountability and resource adequacy.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, becoming a reference on strategic topics.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement project management best practices and efficiency savings.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience in managing and delivering business change projects.
Project/Programme management qualification (APMP/Prince2) covering both waterfall and agile methodologies.
Excellent self-organisation and motivation skills.
Desirable:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in a technical, analytical role in IT/data industry.
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and cost-benefit analysis.
Understanding of data and digital challenges in electricity networks.
Proven experience leading complex projects with multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Positive attitude, negotiation, and influencing skills.
