WellGear is looking for a suitable candidate to join our fast growing and dynamic business. The successful candidate will perform a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team.

Role:

The role is an Entry Level position with great scope to gain industry experience and skills to allow for further development.

The role involves working as part of the field team both onshore and offshore, operating WellGear’s HWO units. It will involve significant periods of time working in European and international locations and will also require occasional assistance with maintenance duties in the Aberdeen Workshop.

Duties include but are not limited to:

· Performing general deck duties

· Power washing

· Lifting and hoisting

· Operating engines, pumps and machinery

· Equipment maintenance

· Heavy manual labour

· Working either day or night shift

· Working outside in all conditions

This role would suit a candidate with the following qualities:

· Practical hands-on approach is very important

· High level of attention to detail

· Takes pride in their work

· Self-motivated

· Strong team player with "can-do" attitude

· Physically fit

· Does not have a fear of heights

Beneficial to have:

· Knowledge of the following: Hydraulic Workover, Snubbing, Coil Tubing, Pumping

· Mechanical/electrical knowledge

· Prior agricultural / forestry / trawler experience

· Lifting Operations

· Offshore Bosiet & medical

· Opito banksman slinger

Education:

No specific requirements but completion of a mechanical course an advantage.

Experience:

Would suit a person who has experience of working away from home in a physically demanding role and is driven to do the best they can.

Rewards:

Day rate in combination with salary.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
