Environmental Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a EHS Advisor to support a biopharmaceutical company in Hertfordshire. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide general EHS advice, support and guidance as required to all departments and functions manufacturing facility in Hertfordshire.
• Support the continual improvement and development of the Environmental, Health and Safety management systems
• Support all capital projects (CDM Client responsibilities) where required.
• Work collaboratively with the EHS team to provide EHS support (in the role of client) to the Principal Contractor / Designer.
• Advise on design risk assessments, provide client pre-construction information advice and ensure the continued compliance with EHS standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support the deployment and digitisation of EHS using EcoOnline: phase 2 modules include A&I reporting, risk assessment, Action tracking, Inspection and audit, E-Permits. Possible use of Ecometrica for Environmental reporting)
• Improve environmental management including identifying environmental aspects and impacts, understand current gaps and improve data collection and reporting process (GHG).

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate previous EHS Consultancy experience specifically client side 
• Experience of working in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Biopharmaceutical environment 
• Experience of working in a GMP environment 
• Working collaboratively with EHS Teams and stakeholders
• Demonstrate previous improvements made in areas such as data collection, reporting processes and understanding current gaps
