Environmental Consultant

A successful geotechnical and geoscience firm with growing offices across the UK is seeking a senior consultant to join a bustling office in the Manchester area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the protection and improvement of the environment whilst also thriving in a dynamic and intellectually stimulating work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Phase 1/2 report writing
• Work on diverse and impactful projects, ranging from residential developments to renewable energy installations such as solar and wind farms.
• Perform Coal Mining Risk Assessments
• Develop Remediation Strategies
• Create Validation Reports
• Carry out Geotechnical Assessments
• Engage in bearing capacity and settlement calculations
• Execute ground gas assessments and mining studies
• Analyze soil and groundwater concentrations

Requirements:

• Valid driving license.
