Join this innovative, multidisciplinary team of building services engineers, environmental and lighting design consultants as an Environmental Designer. They are passionate about delivering high-quality, award-winning building services and sustainable designs that make a difference in the built environment sector.
As an Environmental Designer, you will be an integral part of a vibrant team, reporting to a Senior Environmental Designer or above. You will support a variety of projects, providing expert consultancy on environmental design, sustainability bench-marking, building energy optimisation, daylight and shading design, sustainable systems, materials, and waste.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer consultancy on environmental design, sustainability bench-marking, building energy optimisation, daylight and shading design, sustainable systems, materials, and waste.
- Develop and specialise in one or more disciplines, actively pursuing continuous professional development (CPD).
- Coordinate effectively with in-house engineers, the environmental team, and graphics team members.
- Maintain project oversight and provide regular updates to your line manager or project manager.
- Build and nurture positive relationships within the team and with clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Pursuing relevant professional qualifications
- Minimum of three year's experience in an engineering environment
- Practical knowledge of project work and project management tools
- Strong writing and IT skills, including proficiency with building physics packages
