Our local authority client is looking for an experienced Environmental Services Manager to join their busy offices based in Bromsgrove and Redditch. Full details below:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• To lead transformation within Environmental Services including scoping, design, leadership, roles and logistics to ensure they are delivered effectively.
• Play an active role in the Environmental Services management team to ensure a strategic joined up approach to service delivery and that we are working to strategic purposes
• Ensure contractual/SLA arrangements with Worcestershire County Council and other partners are developed and maintained

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• At least 5 years post qualification experience working in a waste management, street scene or related Environmental Service and recognised qualification of at least HND level in a relevant environmental discipline or an additional 2 years relevant service management experience.
• At least 5 years management experience at a senior level to include the management of a team of staff from a range of disciplines and other associated resources.
