Hours of Work: 8 hours a day, Mon Thur 08 00 &
5.5 hours a day on Fridays, 8:00 2:30
Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)
We are hiring for a Finance Manager, that is experienced and qualified in accountancy in Pershore, and be an industry expert who gives a personal approach to accounting and tax. This is a close-knit team of around 35 employees spread over 4 unique offices, and you will be We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic qualified accountant to take on the role of Finance and Practice Manager in Pershore.
Duties of a Finance and Practice Manager
- Overall management responsibility for the finance function.
- Continued development internal systems and the practice database.
- Management of the sales ledger including direct debit collections and credit control.
- Compliance with the ICAEW and other regulations
- Production of monthly management accounts, KPI s and other financial reports.
- Managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
- Expenses and disbursement management for the firm.
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
- Support with adhoc projects and the continued growth of the business.
- Providing commercial support to the teams across all the offices.
- Managing facilities, IT and HR.
Skills and experience Required
As a Finance Manager, you need have experience with.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified having trained in Practice.
- At least 2 years post qualification experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of report writing.
- Good IT skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- Commercially aware.
- Dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn.
- Knowledge of Xero software.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Driving licence is essential.
