Environmental Specialist Consultant, new permanent career opportunity for an experienced candidate to join a UK leading provider of environmental and property incident response, remediation, and restoration services across private and public sectors. As an Environmental Specialist Consultant, you will work on a range of environmental claims projects, gathering information from field-based visits, performing risk assessments, plus factual and interpretive reporting. Able to work as part of a team or on isolated projects, you will have an inquisitive mind, be able to identity and assess risks, consistently communicating all findings with the wider team and key management. Ideally educated to Degree Level (Natural Science, Geology, Engineering/Environmental) or similar, you will have a keen interest in the environment and all associated factors, able to demonstrate knowledge and passion for this topic.
Working alongside site subcontractors for all site and field-based assessments, you will have proven experience of Phase 1 and Phase 11 Environmental Site Assessment gained in a similar role. You will have great communication skills, both verbal and written and feel comfortable engaging with a range of key managers, clients, the public and internal staff. Having a good understanding of MS Office for the use of email, written and reporting information requires knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel.
As an Environmental Specialist Consultant, you must demonstrate commercial and costing experience, with a keen awareness of current and forthcoming environmental legislation. Naturally there is a need for a Full UK Driving Licence and a willingness to work away (UK wide including Ireland).
