SalaryThey are looking to add an Environmental and Sustainability manager to their best in class SHEQ team. They will be leading the businesses environmental activities across the UK sites with a focus on compliance / contractual / procedural tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all environmental, environmental
management System, and compliance issues for all activities within the business. - Ensuring the Environmental Management Systems are maintained and communicated efficiently.
- To assist the senior leadership with all issues regarding environmental permits and legislation.
- To be the primary point of contact for all environmental regulators.
- Plan and arrange legislative and regulatory compliance auditing and reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors to assist in the retention of the businesses existing ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditations.
- A degree level or equivalent qualification in an environmental related subject.
- Auditing qualification or experience with ISO 90001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001.
- Experience communicating and liaising with regulatory bodies.
- Expert knowledge in environmental / safety legislation.
The package for this role includes:
- Basic Salary of up to £60,000 - £70,000
- Working week of Monday - Friday (Flexible Working / Hybrid)
