Form of workTheEOL Test Engineerwill:
- Take part in laboratory equipment review and bring recommendations and feedback on topics such as measuring tools and inspection equipment or methods.
- Report on activities on a regular basis to the Technical Lead.
- Create end-of-line test reports and records for audit.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing and Product Engineers to provide manufacturability studies for end-of-line testing in battery cells and module & packs while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards and achieving targets in a timely fashion.
- Engage with industrial equipment suppliers to commission and install equipment.
The EOL Test Engineer will have:
- Hands-on experience working with CANalayzer, CANape, CANoe, PCAN.
- Awareness of Battery hazards related to HV secondary Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries.
- Lithium-ion battery testing experience in an automotive environment (Cell, Module and Pack), programming and calibration of test equipment, creating test procedure steps, review process capability.
- Experience of HV DC systems, practical experience of testing batteries for automotive applications to include liquid cooled systems, diagnostics and fault finding and root cause analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving skills are essential.
