Job purpose: To assist and support solution deployment activities through to the NHS Development Team for the promotion of the ESR Programme. The role will also be key in data cleanse activity for deployment of new functional areas and the Transformed Workforce Solution. To participate in the development of new processes and tools using SQL Server and Python to support the analysis of data in ESR is essential to the role this will enable the wider ESR Team to assess system utilisation and return on investment (e.g. analysis of IAT processing); extraction and presentation of key workforce information for national stakeholders. The role holder will participate and advise on all data related activities to support the delivery and service management aspects of the ESR programme. In this role, you are accountable for: Defining and managing processes to identify and resolve problems with data related issued in ESR. Using Python to extract and analyse data from a number of data sources to create actionable intelligence or narratives. Involvement in key operational process in relation to ESR data quality and integrity. This will include, for example, monitoring the use of unique IDs, enforcing good working practices, resolving issues with inconsistencies and producing monthly stats reports. Providing data related information to support the measurement of system utilisation and benefits; Supporting the analysis and interpretation of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Analysing service related information to ensure continued quality of the ESR Contractors service performance and provide an assessment of trends relating to service calls from users flagging areas of concerns and potential hot topics for assessment and user education Collaborating with other Data Analysts and team members to create reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders. Reviewing and supporting maintenance of existing Python scripts and processes Assisting in identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of the Electronic Staff Record Programme. Ensuring that all data related activities are competed on time and to the right level of quality; Reporting progress and escalating issues and risks Document data processes as requested;
