Estates Administration Officer

About us:

Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners.  We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff.

The role:

Gower College Swansea has seven campuses with extensive buildings and grounds. The aim of this role is to organise and supervise administrative and financial systems within the Estates department.  Contribute to planning, development and monitoring of Estates software and databases and day to administrative support.

  • £24,131 - £26,268 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Card purchases and reconciliation for all estates related transactions.
  • Collating data and setting up New Suppliers onto our finance systems.
  • Managing the Estates inbox and calendar.
  • Updating our energy usage records.
  • Supporting auditing practices; collating data, in readiness for issue / review.

About you:

  • Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification
  • Experience of working in a busy administrative office
  • Must be IT literate
  • Must have good attention to detail
