Key Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare service user briefs, identifying the service requirements, objectives to be achieved and Healthcare specific standards (HTMs and HBNs) to be met. Compile and obtain approval to a Project Initiation Document/brief.
- Project Management utilising RIBA stage process to effectively delivery schemes • Liaise with Estates and Facilities colleagues, external consultants and other professionals as required to provide best value solutions.
- Provide advice as required on construction related legislation including Firecode, Building Regulations, Planning Application Process, Equality Act, Construction Design and Management Regulations, Party Wall matters, and other relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
- Create appropriate project management structures and appoint project team members, ensuring thorough governance procedures are followed The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds.
- We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. As a teaching trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research and development.
Essential Criteria
- As well as delivering projects aligned to the Estates Strategy, assist in the delivery of minor works and lifecycle / backlog maintenance.
