Are you an Estimator looking for a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of the senior management team, within a company that has an excellent work ethic and big ambitions to grow further and better their success?

Since they were established 12 years ago, they have grown from strength to strength and have built strong foundations to create impact within the M&E sector. They have recently opened a second office and are looking for like-minded individuals who will take the business to the next level.
This company is on the lookout for an Estimator with a background in M&E or building services looking for a client focused, fast-paced role within a rapidly growing business where you will be responsible for managing an experienced small team, assisting in estimating cost plans based upon conceptual documents as well as schematic, design development and construction documents for build projects across a range of sectors.
Are you looking to work for a well-established, fast-moving and highly regarded M&E contractor, working within an expert team providing exceptional services on a new builds, fit-outs, building refurbishments, or plant replacement projects in a plethora of sectors from healthcare to logistics?
You will be offered ample opportunities to progress both in role and salary package. Options for Directorship are also available for the right candidate.
The Role:

• To produce prime cost plans incorporating to all scope requirements
• To estimate preliminary costs required to execute the projects
• Respond to tender queries, prepare, and submit competitive tender packages and pricing from in accordance with the clients' and subcontractors' requirements
• Arrange enquiry documents of subcontractors to ensure the estimation is accurate and competitive.
• Drawing 'take offs' - take off quantities from drawings
• Participate in the design development to assess buildability, materials, innovation, and cost effectiveness of proposals
• Produce costings with clarity on itemised prime costs and applied markups and margin
• Estimate materials, plant, prelims, and labour to provide complete priced cost plans

The Person:

• Previous experience handling / estimating M&E projects
• Relevant Estimator / Design qualifications

• Full UK Driving License
