Estimator (Drylining)

They are an established company based in the Rhondda Valley covering the whole of South Wales and the South West. Specializing in refurbishment and new build projects across all sectors.

They are a dynamic construction company based in Treorchy, RCT that undertake a number of subcontractor packages through their Drylining Arm and are Main Contractors for all their Energy Improvement Works for housing authorities and councils (everything from groundworks to roofing works, EWI render to new windows/doors and everything in between!)

Drylining experience not essential if applying

Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications and blueprints to determine the scope of work
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
- Analyze project requirements and develop detailed project schedules
- Present estimates and proposals to clients in a professional manner
- Track and manage project costs throughout the construction process
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify any potential issues
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting project specifications
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
