Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Three Shires Ltd are specialist contractors to the Construction, Rail, Utilities, Highways, and Civil Infrastructure sectors. For the last 20 years Three Shires has developed long standing relationships with the UK’s leading House Builders, Construction Contractors, Civil Engineers, Developers, Environmental and Ecological Consultants. Our services include Ecological, Vegetation Clearance, Invasive Weed, Tree Protection, Site Hoarding and Security Fencing we also undertake all other aspects of site enablement.

We are looking to recruit:

A Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities of the Estimator/Quantity Surveyor:

• Assist with price/forecast the cost of different materials needed for projects
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Write reports
• Keeping up to date with early warnings and compensation events
• Creating accurate WIP figures

Skills needed for the Estimator/Quantity Surveyor:

• A BTEC in Building Studies, Building Engineering or Building Management or an HNC/HND
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Strong maths knowledge
• Excellent organisation skills
• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of building and construction

Package on offer for Estimator/Quantity Surveyorrole:

• £28K to £35K depending on experience
• Company Pension
• 28 days paid holiday
