SalaryA great London based University are recruiting for an EU Research Project Manager to join their team.
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all non-scientific aspects of the daily management of an ERC-funded Research Project, which will end December 2025.
Job Profile:
- Report to the Project PI as well as the Assistant Manager (Research Finance)
- Work closely with the lead researcher (PI) and colleagues in the Research and Knowledge Exchange Department to support the preparation and submission of periodic scientific and financial reports as required by the funder
- Take responsibility for the operationalisation of project activities; monitoring of progress against milestones and deliverables; identification and mitigation of risks; management of financial resources; liaison with project partners, contractors and other external or internal stakeholders; organisation of project meetings and events; coordination of project publicity; and any administrative tasks necessary to ensure the successful delivery of the project
Person Specification:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent (ideally in a social science or humanities discipline) Essential
- Proven experience with managing EU-funded (or other large) Research ProjectsEssential
- Experience of working with researchers in an HEI setting Essential
- Experience of managing financial resources Essential
- Qualification in project management Desirable
- Knowledge of EU data management rules and regulations Desirable
- A high level of written & spoken skills as well as financial understanding Essential
Annual salary equivalent: £43,036 - £47,952 pa
Length: Until Dec 2025
