My client, a Winner of the Worlds best Tour Operator, cutting edge travel redefined for the 21st century, are looking to hire a Travel Designer for Europe. You will use your destination knowledge and infectious enthusiasm to drive sales growth across this cutting-edge luxury portfolio.
Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities- Creating luxury European holidays for hight net worth clients
- Use destination knowledge and infectious enthusiasm to drive sales growth across this cutting-edge luxury portfolio.
- Handle sales calls and respond to all enquiries with efficiency, accuracy, courtesy and excellent product knowledge
- Oversee bookings from initial enquiry to final documentation and post-trip follow-up, communicating effectively with the clients
- Communicating equally effectively and courteously with all the company’s suppliers, providing them with all the information
- Occasional travel to explore destinations and properties will be necessary for participation in pre-season location inspection trips
- Working with the Portfolio Development Manager, researching or sourcing new properties
- Close liaison with the Operations team is essential, not only in delivering a first-class client experience, but also in investigating and sourcing ancillary addition products for your clients
- Maintain accurate records, data entries & costings
- Understand the importance of adhering to GDPR protocols while handling sensitive data with complete discretion
- Demonstrate a solid track record of success, as well as possess the self-motivation to deliver impeccable results with a real flair for converting enquiries into sales.

Essential Experience- A passion for experiential travel and a deep-rooted desire to be immersed in the European destinations
- Previous experience within luxury travel sales/products in Europe
- Excellent sales skills that provide you with the edge over others in terms of converting enquiries into bookings.
- An excellent telephone manner that comes across as warm, friendly and professional.
- Intelligent willingness to immerse yourself in the subject by reading all appropriate travel columns / luxury magazines.
- Excellent writing skills and understanding of grammar.
- Good creative eye for photography, excellent numeracy skills and commercial flair.
- Luxury brand experience is an advantage, though not essential.
- Ability to speak a foreign European language would be advantageous although is not a pre-condition to securing this role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team player.
