Research and evaluation are critical functions to generate insight for MyBnk. We need this to understand what works for who, how, and why. Not only does this help us reach high standards in our delivery of financial education, it also shines a light on where our delivery can grow, improve, and adapt. MyBnk also depends on insight to support fundraising and communication activities. We need to make good on the compelling stories we hear from learners and our Trainers – communicating this to funders, partners, and policy-makers is important to ensure that financial education continues to grow and thrive.
The Evaluation Officer will join the Evaluation Manager: together you will play a central role in driving up research and evaluation standards, practices, and culture at MyBnk. We have a range of live and upcoming projects, in which you will play leading and supporting roles – as agreed with the Evaluation Manager. As such, not only is this an exciting role to use what skills and experiences you have, you will have the opportunity to explore new avenues of learning and development. The role will involve working with the Evaluation Manager to set-up, deliver, and promote: the new MyBnk evaluation approach; deep-dive studies that will gather and interrogate a range of datasets (primary quantitative and qualitative, and secondary data sources). To do this well, you will regularly work with our inspiring and wonderful colleagues from across the organisation.
