Be part of the small team at Pollokshields Burgh Hall that helps people make their wedding or event, a magical and memorable day! You will work with our Operations Manager to make sure that our clients' events run smoothly.
Duties include setting up the hall for events, greeting guests, and ensuring that the Halls and lodge houses always look their best and everyone enjoys the event in a safe manner. You will also assist in the marketing, bookings and administration of events.
The position is 37.5 hours, flexible over seven days and will include weekends. The hourly rate is minimum wage.
Situated in the grounds of Maxwell Park, Pollokshields Burgh Hall is an award-winning venue. With a history dating back to 1890, this A listed building has a number of magnificent halls with stained glass windows, wood paneling and heritage features as well as an outdoor garden space. It is a blank canvas venue, which allows clients to create a day that is unique to them.
We also host a variety of leisure classes midweek. The position provides a varied work environment and a great learning experience.
