Responsible for implementing agreed sales campaigns for individual events in the company programme and achieving/exceeding the sales targets set.

Event Sales Account Manager Main Responsibilities:
- Proactively sell event packages to potential customers
- Identify potential lead sources and prospect for new business
- Ensure the sales leads are added to the CRM system
- React quickly to incoming enquiries ensuring relevant information is issued and proactively followed up
- Cold call to prospect for business
- Negotiate and close sales
- Accurately qualify leads
- Create and maintain sales logs for individual events
- Create and update event floor plans
- Follow the correct sales processes and procedures
- Build and maintain relationships
- Attendance at relevant events to promote the event programme and recruit delegates
Event Sales Account Manager Skills:
- Excellent telephone manner and strong sales skills (to include cold calling)
- Effective communicator
- Organised and self-motivated
- Capable multi-tasker with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a key eye for detail
- Efficiency working with spreadsheets and CRM (training will be provided)
- Strong presentation skills
- Interactive team player
- Must live within 1 hour drive of Farnborough, Hampshire
