Events And Marketing Apprentice

Purpose of Position

The role of the Events and Marketing Apprentice is to support the planning, coordination, and execution of all Events and exhibitions across the business. In this role you will report to our Events and Marketing Manager

Key Tasks/Areas of responsibility

• Source venues for different events 
• Provide full assistance on-site at Events and pre-event 
• Attending events to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Conduct research to identify event opportunities
• Support with creating event plans
• Respond to requests from the different functional teams and carry out a variety of daily and weekly tasks to assist in the planning and preparation of an event.
• Use software packages to create word processing and spreadsheet documents. 
• Support with the setup of events, including; decor equipment catering and audio-visual requirements
• Support with event registration processes, attendee communication, and guest list management.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and event partners
