Event and Team Assistant

My client a trade association are looking for a Events and Team Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small and supportive team to ensure the smooth running of a range of Events.
This position will allow you to play a key role and support with all aspects of the event from initial planning through to completion while also providing administrative support to the wider team. The right individual will have experience in planning and executing events to a high standard while also being confident at carrying out a range of administrative tasks.
This is a remote based role but will require regular travel into London for events.
Key Responsibilities
- The first point of contact for vendors, clients and stakeholders
- Running event registration and managing the registration process this can include invites, managing online registration and keeping registration lists updated
- Assisting in the planning, preparation and execution of events both in person and online
- Promote upcoming events through the website, emails, mailshots, newsletters and through social media
- Assist in the scheduling of quarterly meetings and AGMs as well as supporting the finance manager and supporting with event budgets
- Managing the companies website to ensure event details are updated and any website enquiries are followed up
Key experience
- Confident working independently and as part of a small team
- Strong IT skills and experience with Mailchimp preferrable
- Strong attention to details
- Confident in liaising with a range of people and building relationships
- Great time management skill and able to prioritise tasks.
