Think Specialist Recruitment are working with a fantastic organisation based within the Amersham area. This company have an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to join their team. The events business is looking for additional support for the Events Manager to ensure the smooth running of company events. These corporate events range in size from 15 - 100 people and are both online and in-person. This position would suit someone who has experience or an interest in events, has an excellent level of administration experience and is immediately available for work.
This is a temporary position for the next 3 months with the possibility of moving into a permanent role should the requirement remain within the events team. You must be available for work immediately.
This position is based within Amersham, the suitable candidate will need to commute to the office at least 2 days per week, with 3 days a week from home.
Hourly Rate - 14 - 19ph (depending on experience)
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office, 3 days from home
Some of the duties will include:
- Assist the Events Manager with end-to-end event management and campaigns
- Create and manage invite lists ensuring all RSVP's are logged
- Keep the events and campaigns tracker up-to-date
- Assist with events logistics including liaising with venues, hosts, guests, speakers and onsite teams
- Manage the event inbox
- Ensure events material is ready including printing documents & name badges, formatting presentation slides and issuing out on the day instructions/invitations
- Support with admin post-event including sending out thank you's, issuing discussion summaries and reports
- Attend events with the event manager (events are typically 1-day events with no overnight stays required)
The suitable candidate:
- Previous experience within Events or in-depth admin experience
- Immediately available for work
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload efficiently and meet tight deadlines
- Commutable distance to Amersham
