Are you looking to join a highly regarded and compassionate Charity at their Head Office in Poole as an Events Fundraiser ?

As part of the Fundraising Team your role as Events Fundraiser will see you being responsible for a variety of duties including :-
- Developing, facilitating and organising fundraising events including annual flagship events
- Managing all aspects of the planning of events including the recruitment and management of volunteers and service providers, securing venues and organising suppliers and entertainment as appropriate
- Managing event income and expenditure budgets
- Working closely with the Area Fundraisers and Fundraising Director
- Undertake risk assessments on events
- Recruiting participants and guests for events
- Working with the Corporate Fundraiser to prepare sponsorship opportunities for events from local companies and organisations
- Ensure that post campaign reviews and evaluations are completed in a timely way
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Team on the copy, design and timely production of publicity materials for events
- Design and implement appropriate marketing strategies for all events
- Deliver and develop presentations to groups to promote events
- Work as part of a small and highly successful Fundraising team
The successful candidate will have experience managing, planning and implementing a range of events as well as experience with the management of budgets and expenditure.
Experience of working within a fundraising team or Charity is highly advantageous but candidates with exceptional Events experience and Communication skills will also be considered.
