As part of the Fundraising Team your role as Events Fundraiser will see you being responsible for a variety of duties including :-

• Developing, facilitating and organising fundraising events including annual flagship events
• Managing all aspects of the planning of events including the recruitment and management of volunteers and service providers, securing venues and organising suppliers and entertainment as appropriate
• Managing event income and expenditure budgets
• Working closely with the Area Fundraisers and Fundraising Director
• Undertake risk assessments on events
• Recruiting participants and guests for events
• Working with the Corporate Fundraiser to prepare sponsorship opportunities for events from local companies and organisations
• Ensure that post campaign reviews and evaluations are completed in a timely way
• Work with the Marketing and Communications Team on the copy, design and timely production of publicity materials for events
• Design and implement appropriate marketing strategies for all events
• Deliver and develop presentations to groups to promote events
• Work as part of a small and highly successful Fundraising team

The successful candidate will have experience managing, planning and implementing a range of events as well as experience with the management of budgets and expenditure.

Experience of working within a fundraising team or Charity is highly advantageous but candidates with exceptional Events experience and Communication skills will also be considered.
