Morgan McKinley are headhunting on behalf of a global financial services firm who are looking for an experienced Events Director to join their International Events Team
A global financial services firm are looking for an experienced Events Director to join their International Events Team on a 12 month maternity cover (day rate) contract to develop and execute a portfolio of international events.
Key Responsibilities of the Events Director:
- Plan and execute events and conferences both virtually and in-person, delivering world class events
- Measure and communicate event success through post-event reports, identifying key learning's
- Develop event strategy and portfolio
- Manage senior stakeholders, ensuring events portfolio is in line with business objectives
- Manage multi-currency event budget and invoicing
- Ensure brand guidelines are consistently met across all event activity
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders
- Act as a leader within the wider team
- Work closely with creative team to develop event assets
- Manage event assets to ensure they are in line with regulations
Ideal background/skill set of the Events Director
- 10 + years experience executing events within financial services
- Experience working on events across APAC
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
- Strong attention to detail, planning and decision making
- Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
Salary up to £80,000 (£400 - £450 per day)
