Harris Hill has an exciting opening for an Events Manager to support an education/health based institution for 3 to 5 months, on a 3 day per week basis.
This role reports to the Head of Events and will be responsible for managing an exhibition/ conference. Further details include:
Managing the lead up and onsite delivery of the exhibition (11 free build stand, 20 table tops)
Account managing the exhibitor and sponsors until event completion
Drafting the exhibition & sponsorship Technical Manual
Organising industry evaluations and post-event feedback
Managing workshop from start to finish
Managing AV requests and set ups in each of the rooms
Planning stage management
Creating and managing staff schedule
Working with the Head of Events to detail support staffing
Reviewing the finances and creating a process to have student volunteers
Experience:
Significant experience in an events management role delivering physical and digital events
Experience of managing an exhibition
Experience of budget management
Experience of project management
Experience of working closely with volunteers, speakers, subject matter experts to successfully manage programmes
High levels of competence in using a range of software, including Microsoft Office Suite and event management tools.
