This Events Manager role is a fantastic opportunity in a newly created team to shape the in event planning and execution for a recognised Public Sector organisation. Working with the Senior Leadership team to understand key business objectives and translate this into an Events calendar.

Description

For the period of the interim Events Manager role you will focus on (but not be limited to):

• Planning & delivery of a key event in April to both Internal and External audiences
• Shape the new event calendar to target both existing and new audiences
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to both understand their needs and communicate progress
• Support on the hiring of junior team members

Profile

The candidate that secures the Events Manager role will bring:

• Proven track record in planning and executing a broad range of small scale events (including: roundtables, webinars, hybrid) that build an organisations reputation.
• Demonstrable financial acumen & budget management capability
• Ability to identify new audiences and event opportunities.
• Outstanding communication and influencing skills to bring fresh thinking and new event ideas that will drive the businesses reputation.
