Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Events Marketing Manager to lead our busy programme of events. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of our third-party and hosted events, leveraging your marketing and organisational skills to ensure the success of every event.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure the success of event preparation and execution
- Manage relationships with suppliers, organisers and attendees
- Oversee creation and delivery of marketing collateral with support from colleagues within the marketing team
- Generate interest and registrations for hosted events using the event platform/CRM
- Manage on-site presence and communications
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a successful events plan
- Manage on-site logistics with suppliers and internal team
- Ensure smooth event execution within budget and to meet goals
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience of 3 years plus in event management
- Experience of varied event types including online and face to face, large tradeshows and smaller events.
- Experience of international events desirable
- Experience of event management platforms desirable
- Exceptional project management skills
- Creativity and an eye for detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with senior level colleagues
- Ability to coordinate internal teams to achieve event success
- Previous experience of working in education or public sector an advantage
- Flexibility for travel and overnight stays and to work longer or alternative hours on occasion
