OVERVIEW:

At Gymshark, our mission is to Unite the Conditioning Community. We do this by bringing together the Gymshark family – whether it be through a love of conditioning, wearing our product, following our Athletes or viewing content across our various social platforms.

In October 2022, the 10th year of our existence, we opened our very first Retail Store - a Flagship on London's prestigious Regent St. A permanent space in which our community can meet, shop, and work out. Our store is an experience totally unique to Gymshark, and not your typical retail environment. It's all about experience first, and retail second. A creative and flexible space, where everyone can feel at home, meet friends, make new ones, or just hang out. A place where URL meets IRL.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Ideating, planning, project managing and executing in-store events
  • Working closely with the HQ team to ensure in-store events are communicated to all functions
  • Taking lead on multiple in-store event projects and delivering first class execution, coordinating both internal and external teams from concept stage through to execution
  • Keeping up to date with competitor activations and trends to make sure we are keeping ahead and appeal to the right target audience
  • Delivering strategic projects within the budget guidelines set by Events Manager
  • Identifying opportunities through collaboration and activations ensuring
  • Gymshark Regent Street remains culturally relevant globally, unlocking new diverse audiences
  • Networking with local communities and bringing their audiences in to the store
  • Covering managerial duties when Senior Team Lead is away
  • Motivate, challenge and coach Junior Event Specialists
  • Manage and delegate Event Specialists and Team Member's workload
  • Being an advocate of Gymshark culture and encouraging team to do the same

  • Co-ordinate the execution of Gymshark Regent Street's daily event schedule, proactively managing queues in a fun and engaging way
  • Tracking and reporting performance data from each event
  • Briefing creative assets to creative functions

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Experience in planning events from start to finish
  • Experience working with agencies and partners
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience leading a team
  • People first mindset
  • Well-connected in the industry and great awareness of relevant communities surrounding the store
  • Comfortable working in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Available to work flexible hours, including weekends to cover events where necessary

In order to comply with PCI-DSS standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) which governs how we handle, store and access payment data, this position is subject to satisfactory results from necessary pre-employment checks, including a basic DBS check.
