About the opportunity
We are looking for an exceptional, highly motivated Events Venue Sourcing Manager to join us in pushing our world-class events that bit further. If you love travel and have experience in relationship building and Venue Sourcing, then this could be a match made in heaven.
As Events Venue Sourcing Manager, you will:
- Be responsible for the department destination and venues research for confirmed and prospective events
- Support the generation of leads and administrative follow-ups with potential partners
- Develop and manage partner relationships
- Create and update all event contracts
- Create and update all Future Solutions communication materials including event RFP’s (Request for Proposals)
- Be responsible for updating all event information in relevant CRMs and files
- Be responsible for updating all event budget from latest quotes received
- Be responsible for reviewing all marketing deliverables against event information to insure the proper launch of each event campaign from a marketing and sales perspective
- Be responsible for each event partner confirmation process
- Be responsible for the handover of each contracted partner info to all relevant departments
- Be responsible for ensuring the delivery of each partner benefit package with the other departments according to their contract
- Consolidate information to fulfil partner reporting requirements
- Work with the Head of Events and Event Managers gathering post event feedback to maintain our level of service, drive better destinations and venues sourcing
- Create and maintain best practices and standard operating procedure for Venue Sourcing across the team
- Support the team both onsite during the events and in the office
- Attend industry events as necessary
- Undertake site visits
Due to the nature of the events industry, you may occasionally be required to work outside of hours to meet deadlines.
About you
To be considered as Events Venue Sourcing Manager, you will need:
- Previous experience in events partner negotiation
- An understanding of database management
- A keen interest in the event industry, following trends and news
- Organisational skills with attention to detail is essential
- Good time-management skills with an ability to manage priorities
- Effective communication and people skills
- Proficiency in IT, including the Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Problem solving and a real proactive attitude always thinking ahead of what’s coming next
- A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally
Desirable
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Airtable
- Ability to communicate in other languages
- Experience working in different countries and cultures
