Executive Chef

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 + PTO + Benefits

Location: San Diego, CA

We are working with a well renowned restaurant group based in San Diego.
The company owns multiple restaurants and event spaces and are growing across the US.
This company is privately owned and is all about people and culture and giving their teams autonomy to run the business as if it were their own.
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to come onboard for the opening of their next location!

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the culinary operations and back of house personnel
• Ensure food is prepared, plated, and served efficiently in accordance with food health and safety regulations
• Lead menu engineering and development to reflect the restaurant’s concept
• Recruit and train the culinary staff, providing a strong team culture and environment
• Work closely with front of house employees to ensure guests are provided with an outstanding dining experience
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance the restaurant’s culinary operations
• Manage labor and food costs
• Inventory and waste management

Executive Chef Requirements:

• 5 years of culinary leadership experience
• Well-rounded and motivated culinary leader who can hold their own in a fast-paced environment
• An eye for detail and a commitment to quality
• Passionate about providing exceptional dining experiences
• A positive and humble personality and can support and guide a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
