Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Client Solutions Director, the overall purpose of the role is to support "digital transformation" within our business, with a focus on the Tax Practice, to include:
- Optimisation of internal processes to aid efficiency and increase capacity in our teams
- Ensuring that we use the full functionality of our current IT solutions both to deliver work efficiently and effectively and to obtain information from our IT solutions
- Supporting the implementation of new technology solutions for the tax practice
This is a varied role with scope for development.
The role will take into account the firms agile working policy with a primary office based in one of Crowe’s current offices.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working as part of a team to improve the structure and consistency of our client and related job data
- Timetabling and operation of various automated processes and maintaining controls and checks over the results
- Assist in development of best practice and consistent process for national tax compliance and advisory processes
- Working with other specialists to consider how data analysis and data science can be used
- Testing of solutions
- Assist in research and trials of alternative tax technology solutions to meet client requirements
- Involvement in forming Tax IT training content nationally and supporting the Learning and Development team in delivery as needed

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of software would be useful but not essential
