Executive Headteacher

Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced senior leader for an Executive Headteacher job in Woking, Surrey (GU22). If you are a SEND specialist who is available from September 2024 or January 2025, we would be keen to speak with you. 

If you are an experienced Executive Headteacher or an experienced Headteacher seeking a more senior post who has worked with SEND across either primary or secondary phases this role may be for you. We are currently supporting two established alternative provisions based in Woking and Hampshire with their journey of growth. The role is offered as a permanent post from either September 2024 or January 2025. You will oversee two sites, around 40 minutes apart with an overall capacity for 21 heads. Typically, the site caters for pupils aged 7-17 with SEND requirements such as SEMH and ASD. A tour of the site and an informal meeting with the Regional Executive Director can be arranged. 

This site is part of a national trust who are focussed on supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. Their pupils have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences, and they work closely with them to develop self-belief to become effective learners. In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:

A relevant UK based teaching and/or leadership qualification.
Substantial experience working with pupils with SEND within an education setting.
All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance. You will work solely with your consultant throughout your registration journey and beyond, always having direct access to speak with them on a one-to-one basis.

Proposed start date: September 2024
Salary: £57,500 to £60,000 plus a bonus of up to £6,000
