About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has experience of providing efficient administrative support across a number of teams helping with day-to-day administration and ensuring the smooth running of a busy office. This role sits within the Corporate Business Services Directorate who are responsible for the delivery of support services to the National Oceanography Centre (NOC).
The Executive Office Team Assistant is responsible for a range of administrative duties primarily providing support to the Executive Office, arranging complex travel for the Marine Autonomous Robotics Systems (MARS) team, and day to day administrative support to the CBS Group Heads. These include but are not limited to travel arrangements and planning detailed itineraries, arranging various meetings, room bookings and creating documents (ie agendas, presentations, spreadsheets).
About you
Do you have experience of supporting a busy team with day-to-day administration, arranging lots of travel both nationally & internationally, performing a wide range of tasks meaning you can multi-task with ease?
We want someone who has experience as a team administrator / office assistant, who can be resourceful, proactive, and think independently who is calm and extremely organised. You will have a professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support a very friendly fast-paced team.

Location
This position will be based in Southampton. The centre is well connected by public transport and has ample cycle parking in addition to free onsite car-parking.
