Exciting opportunity for a highly talented Exhibition Sales Director to lead on a brand expansion into the US market.
Our client is an industry leading, international events business with offices globally. As part of their ambitious growth plans they are now seeking a highly acclaimed Exhibition Sales Director as they plan to grow their market leading brand into a new global market, the US.
Key Role Responsibilities: Exhibition Sales Director
We are looking for an experienced Exhibition Sales Director to lead a team of Business Development Managers, based in London, to launch the show across the USA. The role includes:
- Personal sales target, to include large client relationships and premium sponsorship
- Managing international sales agents
- Recruit, train and manage a team of Business Development Managers to launch and sell the brand across the USA
- Sales trips to industry shows in the USA, Germany and China. The role will require regular travel to the USA.
- To work with the wider team on marketing and content initiatives
- Dual reporting to MD USA and Group COO,
- London Regular travel trips to the US circa 10 a year
- Role – approx. 70% selling / 30% management of a team
Key Requirements: Exhibition Sales Director
- A proven track record in Exhibition Sales – 8 years + with a proven track record at Sales Director level
- A proven track record in exhibition launch Ideally have managed and recruited a team
- A tenacious and target driven mind set – keen to deliver sales
- Entrepreneurial, risk taker, courageous
