We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assembler Technician with a passion for precision and quality to join our team in Winchester. You will play a pivotal role in the assembly and soldering of electrical components, ensuring the functionality and quality of our products. You will work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail, precision, and commitment to safety are paramount.
Your Role:
Perform soldering and wiring tasks to assemble and connect electrical components and circuits according to engineering specifications.
Conduct thorough inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of assemblies. Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies.
Work closely with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues, implement design changes, and improve product quality.
Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of electrical components and supplies
Use mechanical handling equipment and systems in warehouse operations.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations in the assembly and soldering process, ensuring a safe working environment.
Willing to support all facets of warehouse operations, including but not limited to goods receiving and goods dispatch.
Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in electrical assembly and soldering
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Computer literate, able to create, maintain and read spreadsheets.
You will need to be confident following specific procedures and instructions.
Self-motivation to work hard and do everything to the best of your ability.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Forklift truck license would be advantageous.
The Package:
Annual salary £28,000-£30,000 (depending on experience)
Occasional overtime available at 1.5x rate.
20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, with an additional day added per year employed.
