South Coast Staff is one of the leading providers of residential and nursing homes.
We are now looking to employ care assistants for the Southsea, Gosport, Hayling island, Liphook, Drayton area with immediate start
All staff are expected to cover all our homes.
Please note this is not a domically care role.
We are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic and compassionate carers, who are looking to become part of our team and develop within the Care Sector.
Job Duties Include:
- Providing a high quality of care. The aim is to support clients with their daily activities using a person-centred approach and to preserve independence and dignity.
- Assisting elderly and vulnerable adults with personal care including washing, dressing, medication, toileting and meal preparation.
- Providing service users with emotional support and maintaining their independence.
Care Worker requirements:
- Various hours on the night shift and various hrs on day shifts
- Caring, kind & enthusiastic.
- 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable people.
- Willing to undertake Personal Care tasks including bathing and toileting.
- Be comfortable working within either a team setting or lone working.
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- Hold a current or willing to undertake a Disclosure & Barring Service (D.B.S) check.
- Up to date manual handling
