We are seeking, on behalf of our esteemed client, a skilled and detail-orientated CNC operator to join their existing team. The CNC operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality glass products according to precise specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC machinery, preferably in a glass environment.
- Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping
- Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
- Experience in using machines
- Work in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents
- Using Icam software, CAD software and dxf files and customer drawings
- Ability to follow the standard operating procedures in place to maintain safety and quality
- Assist with troubleshooting problems with equipment, devices, or products
- Maintain equipment. Detect and correct minor machine malfunctions and perform daily and monthly machine maintenance as directed
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area
- Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
- Physically fit (some manual handling required)
