Experienced Family Paralegal/Trainee Solicitor

We are looking for self-driven, Experienced Family paralegals who are able to carry their own caseload and work in a team of vibrant people.

· The candidate should have a professional and pro-active approach, should have strong client care skills, and also have a sensitive and sympathetic understanding of the needs of the clients’.

· The candidate must be able to handle casework including dealing with a range of Family matters (LAA Funded and Private work) as well as undertaking own advocacy.

· Should be able to attend clients, take instructions and prepare the cases for the hearing.

· Must be able to handle entire correspondence in the case.

· Should have knowledge of CCMS is able to apply and manage legal aid applications.

· Should be able to prepare draft documents including witness statements and processing evidence.

· Implementing any recommendations made by your supervisor following monthly file reviews ensuring that these are dealt with promptly

· Ensuring compliance with file management.

Required Key Skills:

· Demonstrate passion and legal experience in a broad range of Family Law

· A strong academic background with a Law degree

· Clear understanding and application of Family Laws

· Business acumen and the ability to market the Company

· Excellent communications skills to work effectively with all types of people

· Excellent analytical and organisational skills and ability to use own initiative but know when to seek guidance

· Committed team player, self -motivated and professional

· Excellent IT Skills -familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills

Firm will assist the candidate with career progression like SQE, Training Contract etc

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From £25,000.00 per year
