Description:
Berry Recruitment are looking for an Export Coordinator to join one of the UK's leading providers of international freight and transport logistics services based in Nursling.
This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday 08.30 - 17.30 with a 1 hour lunch break.
Salary between £26,000 and £28,000 depending on experience.
The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for all export tasks including initial enquiries, preparing documents, raising invoices and liaising with clients & shipping lines.
Full training will be given on all parts of this role.
Main Duties:
- Building strong relationships with clients, shipping lines & agents
- Gaining full understanding on inbound logistics
- Ensuring all export records are complete and correct prior to processing on customs software
- Rectify any errors with the relevant client
- General forwarding and admin duties including invoicing and quotations
- Assist with HMRC and client audits
Candidate Requirements:
- Attention to detail
- Freight background is desirable but not essential
- Administration experience is essential
- Experience using Microsoft Office in particular Excel
