The Salary:

£23000 to  £28000 DOE

The Job Role:

We are delighted to be supporting our client in their search for an Export Sales Administrator. Our client is a leading manufacturer located in Sheffield, S9. They are well-established, hugely successful and they have an excellent reputation worldwide.  We would love to hear from personable, friendly and hardworking individuals who are looking for a long-term opportunity. Experience within export is not essential – full training will be provided.

The successful Export Sales Administrator will work as part of the small administration team.  The office environment is friendly and supportive and the successful candidate will be made to feel welcome and very much part of the team.  The role is extremely varied, and will involve working collaboratively with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure that customers are provided with a first-class service and that their goods are dispatched on time.

We are looking to speak to a proactive, organised and adaptable Administrator who are looking for a role that includes the following duties;

  • Managing incoming customer enquiries (mostly via email)
  • Costing quotations using internal CRM system
  • Following up quotations
  • Corresponding with suppliers
  • Providing customers with regular updates via email
  • Outbound telephone calls to customers
  • Managing couriers
  • General office administrative duties
  • Opening and distributing post
  • Preparing Export paper work
  • Using the full suite of MS Office and SAP

We are looking to speak to candidates that have the following skills and experience;

  • Administration experience – ideally 2 years +
  • Export experience would be advantageous but absolutely not essential – full training will be provided
  • Sales Administration experience would be advantageous but again not essential
  • SAP experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Experience using the full suite of MS Office
  • Confident liaising with customers via telephone and email
  • Additional language skills – not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organised, proactive and flexible
