External Reporting Manager

We are working exclusively with a well-respected, well known business to add a newly created Group External Reporting Manager to the team.

This role will lead a team who manage and produce high quality external financial accounts for the Business. You will act as the point of contact for the external auditors and management of the audit process, assisting the company in the resolution of complex technical queries that can arise.

Responsibilities include:

• Identifying ways to make an impact for the stakeholders and respond to them on a timely basis.
• Providing leadership to the team, supporting and developing colleagues to be their best at work every day, managing performance and planning for the future.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with other teams across the business to understand and meet their needs.
• Identify personal and professional opportunities for development, driving a culture of personal development & continued up skilling of the team.
• Make decisions considering wider business and reputational implications.

To be considered for the opportunity you will have a full accounting qualification, ideally from a top 10 Practice, with a high level of financial accounting and technical knowledge. The ability to lead and develop a team would also be invaluable as well attention to detail.
