Pay
The pay rate stated in this Ad, £10.75 weekday and £11.25 weekend.
You will be paid time and a half for working bank holidays.
You will be paid DOUBLE TIME for Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Key Responsibilities
As an Extra Care Assistant, you will be providing the same level of excellent care, but in one place of work rather than working in the community. You will enable the elderly to live as independently as possible in their own individual flats located within one large building on a shared communal site.
Your day could include support with meals, medication, companionship, housekeeping duties, responding to emergencies, and personal care (assisting with toilet breaks, washing, dressing, and other aspects of a daily routine).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
No experience required- 3 Day Induction Course
- Shadowing shifts with an experienced carer
- Have experience? Excellent! We can offer fast-track induction training for those who qualify, terms and conditions apply.
Working Hours
- Early- 7.00 am to 2.00 pm
- Late- 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm
- Every other weekend to ensure everyone gets the weekend off they deserve
Please note, this does not mean you have to work these hours every day.
