SalaryHays Education are currently working in partnership with a large two-form entry primary school in Widnes to recruit an experienced EYFS teacher for a long-term opportunity starting in September 2023 in a large reception class.
The post will be temporary for 3 terms through Hays Education, paid to scale from day 1 inclusive of a 65-day holiday. There is the opportunity for the position to become permanent at the end of the contract.
The school is ideally looking to appoint MPS 2- MPS 6 EYFS teacher but will welcome applications from ECT's/NQT's with experience of teaching in EYFS

You will be working in a two-form entry Ofsted "Good" school joining an experienced, friendly and welcoming teaching and support team who work hard to create an engaging environment for children to flourish and achieve their goals.
Your new role
As an EYFS teacher teaching in reception, you will have full responsibility for planning, resourcing and delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the EY curriculum. Ensuring children are learning in a fun, positive and safe environment, you will deliver engaging activities, deliver phonics and work as part of an experienced early years team.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you will need to have:
- Qualified teacher status
- An in-depth knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Experience working with in reception
- Experience of phonics
- An up-to-date DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- Satisfactory references
