Start Date: September 2024

Position: Part time, permanent - 3 days a week (0.6), 22.5 hours

Salary: PT4 to EPT1 - £38,550 to £44,250 pro rata

At Pegasus Primary we are looking for a passionate EYFS SENCo who can inspire, nurture and motivate children.

The successful candidate will support in

  • Ensuring a good working relationship with the lead SENCo at the school.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for identifying and assessing special educational needs.
  • Co-ordinating the provision of support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities in the Early Years.
  • Liaising closely with parents, outside agencies, and other professionals to ensure that the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities are met.
  • Provide professional training and guidance to colleagues, working closely with all staff

Alongside your EYFS SENCo role, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Lead SENCo and others, developing your professional capital. Pegasus Primary is situated on the outskirts of Oxford City, within Blackbird Leys. Your work will have the power to transform life opportunities where it is needed most.
