Eyfs Teaching Assistant

Smile Education Northwest are delighted to be working alongside a friendly primary school in the Salford area. We are currently seeking two EYFS Teaching Assistants to join the team from April 2024.
We are currently seeking two EYFS TA’s to join this friendly team from April 2024 until the end of the academic year. This is a dynamic role, the successful applicants will be supporting pupils on a whole class basis in addition to working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups where required. The focus with this role is primarily based in supporting pupils in grasping phonics to ensure the scaffolding is in place before moving into new year groups in the new academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced TA’s and newly qualified TA’s looking to continue their professional development. The school is located in the Salford area, within proximity to Castlefield and Trafford. The expected salary range for this position is between £80-90 per day, depending on experience.
What to expect from applicants?
We would like applicants to have experience in supporting children. This can be through placements, within an academic setting or through outside of school settings, such as sports coaching.

To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
-        Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, such as supporting teaching and learning in schools.
-        Alternatively, applicants without a formal qualification but have a strong, recent, referenceable experience in working with children, are encouraged to apply
-        Available for an ASAP start date and available until the end of the academic year.
